| I've been waiting to see a good review on this case. Great Job! It's one of my choices for my rebuild. |

That case would have to be one of the worst i have ever worked with.It is fiddley.you have to use an Antec PSU as others do not fit because of the fan in the lower section.
the wiring is near impossible to get through. The case came with 3 standoffs and none installed. I put the lone 3 in and my mobo was 1/2 mm out where the I/O sheild goes.I give the P180 the thumbs down. I am using an Asus SLI premium mobo and running SLI. I took it back from where i bought it and grabbed a P160.
I give it the thumbs down. |

| rememeber though, if your northbridge is using a heatpipe for cooling, it would be best to stick a fan on it instead, as if the heatpipe is traveling below your northbridge heat wont move through it (heat rises, not the other way around), I know northbridges dont generate LOTs of heat for someone to worry about, but its something to think about. |

The case is somewhat "fiddley". You do NOT have to use an Antec power supply. The case I reviewed had six standoffs installed and more in the bag, and everything lined up perfectly. "The wiring is near impossible to get through", I don't understand what you mean. |

I have had this Case for a few months now and I enjoy it greatly. Its amazingly quiet and keeps cool (I run my comp 24/7).
I am thinking of getting a 2nd one for my server which also runs 24/7.
The only downside besides the ones mentioned (which I agree on) is as mentiond on the review was the door. It also has a problem by slighty bending outwards when closed, the magnet holding the door is too weak IMO so I glued on exstras.
Another "bad" thing is the cooling duct that rests over the GFX card. If you have a "large" card you will have problems getting a fan to fix in it. I had to do some "modding" on a fan to get it flat with the rims. |

Seriously though, the thing looks like a refrigerator.
Mojo, is there any easy fix or mod one could do to beef up the door? Just wondering. I am not in general a fan of front panel doors, especially larger ones.
Case looks solid otherwise. You could probably use it for a jack-stand with your car.
I really must say its one of the MOST attractive Antec cases in quite a while. I can be a sucker for simplicity, but only when its done on purpose and done well. This definitely fits the description.
Please be sure to update us in a few months on how the case is holding up, especially the door in question. _________________ |¤| |

I think the door itself would be fine, although It's a little flimsy for my taste. It's the hinge that looks to be weak. I've not had any issues with it so far, and the hinge may hold up just fine, but I thought it should be mentioned in the review.
As Moonfog mentioned above, the door is too flexible, in my opinion and some reinforcement may be possible. I'll look when I get home from work and report back. |

Well i used a Silverstone and i had to remove the larger fan where the psu goes as i could not get the cables through"it was a tight fit" So i swapped the smaller 120mm fan into the lower compartment where the psu is and put the larger one up top. Fiddley is an Understatement. Regardless of which mobo you are using (be it heatpipe or fan) imo it is a pain in the ass. I have 2 7800GTX's as well. As i said before it is the worst case i have ever worked on. my case Came with no standoffs installed and only 3 spares.

After looking at the door again, there is enough room to use some aluminum or steel flat stock to stiffen up the door. This would , however, add to the weight of the door and consequently put more stress on the hinges.

As I mentioned in the review, any PSU longer than ~6" will be problematic to install. But any PSU of the proper size will fit, it need not be an Antec psu. My Thermaltake 680W wouldn't fit at all. As far as installation being "fiddley, in order to get the case as quiet as they have requires an unconventional design, which may compromise ease of installation. As I said in the review, I wouldn't want to switch out components in this case very often.
As to the standoff issue, I would contact Antec, as this is not acceptable. Antec's costomer service has been very good in my experience. |

Before i buy it (really like the thing) i've got an Fortron FSP400-60THN-P Power supply. Dimension : 140 x 150x 86 mm
Do you think it would fit?

Yes, your power supply should fit perfectly, as it is the same dimensions as the PSU I used in the review. Removing the bottom chamber fan makes installing the power supply much easier. The fan can then be reinstalled.
It's very easy to remove/replace the fan.
Good luck and welcome to Tweaknews! |

| How is it not the same? The power supply I installed in the case is 15cm wide by 8.6cm tall, like all standard ATX PSU's. The PSU I installed is 14cm deep, as is yours. It should fit fine. |

| In regards to the door issue. I have recently purchased a p180 and my door came warped out of shape. After a quick call antec sent me another door. The new door is made just like the side panels with the tri layer build, better magnets and a smoother interface with the lock. However it still has the plastic henge. |

| Thanks for the info! It's always good to hear that a manufacturer stands behind their products and updates them as needed. |
