I was browsing newegg and decided to look at the computer cooling section. When I clicked the link, it took a real long time and still didn't load, the WHAM! I had over a 100 internet explorer windows opened to my homepage, YAHOO! They just kept coming and coming until I went into Task manager, and they were still loading in processes. Is this an adware program running. I didn't get the chance to look for anything in the processes. It seems ok now, but I am not sure if it is an adware problem. I have adaware, microsoft, norton corporate 9.0 all running and all updated and couldn't find anything.

download spybot search and destroy, version 1.4, update it and run it. See if it comes up with anything. Other than that, as long as it doesnt happen again, i would say no worries. If it does then we should start looking into it. Could just be an.... IE problem... (i couldnt help but smile)

You know, I had something very similar happen the other day, but it was an error message from my ID3 tag editor...........opened about 100 error dialogs. Never did figure out what caused it.
