just so you would know....After learning some new things these past few days. I tweaked my wifes BFG 6600 GT. Its original clock settings is 525MHz core, 1050MHz mem. Voltage: 1.3v in 2D : 1.4 in 3D.
After the bios flash and the "pencile" mod... 602MHz core, 1200MHz mem
Voltage: 1.78v in 2D : 1.91v in 3D after pressing the "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button. I ran BF2, HL2 at high settings...No artifacts. Seems to me like a 6800GT @ stock. Its not at all a bad card. Yes I know those volts are insane....But just keep in mind....Once you've done these mods...WATER COOLING or BETTER ONLY....And some damn good RAM sinks for the card mem. _________________ Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe, AM2 4600 x2, 150GB Raptor Exteme, 7900GTX in SLI Corsair XMS DDR2 CAS3, Custom DD Water Cooling |
