Playing BF2, my 9800Pro is getting HOT!!! I can no longer hold my finger to heatsink. What is best, easiest, most compatable to install cooling solution? I need to stretch the life of this card till next summer..
Thanks in Advance! _________________ AMD XP 2500+ Barton

I've heard good things about the Zalman VF700 series coolers. I have an AIW so I couldn't use it. Went with an Arctic Cooling solution.
You can find pricing and vendors here: http://tweaknews.pricegrabber.com/home_comp.php/
Good Luck! |

| do you have a good circulation of exhaust and intake air? you could also buy just ram sinks if youd be scared changing the main cooler. the ram sinks help a bit, but mostly cooling of just the memory chips. |

If you have room in your case you might try a pci mounted fan.[/url]http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=120565&Sku=V13-4200
I mounted mine two slots under my AIW 9800 pro(after a meltdown playing Doom 3)works great! |
