Im trying to figure out how to install windows on a different drive other then the c: I have a 32gig raptor 10,000 and a 250 hitachi both SATA and I would like the OS to be on a drive that the computer does not default to C. If that does not make sence I mean when you install programs you know how it always defaults to C? I would like to name the raptor like d or what ever so stupid little programs do not get on the C drive. any ideas? _________________ +!~Budweiser~!+ Spelt forwards and backwards

| I think the easiest is to install Windows on C:, but when installing other programs you have the chance to change the destination to D: if you wish.... when the install says "I'm going to install in C:\path\path...is that OK?", you can change it to D:. |

| That's what I do as well, I have windows on it's own 15gb partition, then have the rest out for the programs. |
