If you mean this stuff:
Part Numbers
512MB Module PN – OCZ625512ELPE
*This product is no longer manufactured by OCZ Technology Group
It's listed under the "end of life" section of their website. Prolly did'nt sell enough to make it cost effective to produce. No mention of a recall, seems it's just no longer produced. So I would'nt worry about it, it just means they prolly didn't make enough profit to make it a viable product.

Probably the simplest explanation is the easiest: They simply couldn't find enough super-good chips to make the RAM in any kind of realistic quantity.
Same thing happened with ATI and the X800 Platinum PCIe........they couldn't find enough cores to meet the specs, so they stopped producing them, except for the occasional OEM.
You're probably fine, it's just another niche product that turned out to be too hard to make and sell. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

No most likely not....although some super enthusiast somewhere may.....
in the world of computers...things go obsolete real fast, so chances are, it will be nothing special by the end of the year......lol
Still great RAM mind you....im still jealous....=] _________________

its realluy the most flexible ram ive ever seen. i can go from DDR 400 2-2-2-5 to DDR625 3-4-4-10 all at 3.0v its incredible, i have it right now in a divider with my proc i think its like a 5/6 i donno ill check aty home,, awesome ram although anything higher than 3.0v or higher than 625 or looser than 3-4-4-10 and it just falls to pieces, _________________ My setupd:

Yup, hard to find any more of the good stuff in the bins so they dropped the line... _________________ If time is of the essence,
