New ram, Help me

Ok fellas i only got 256mb ram atm, but im updating lol, i need ddr2 i have 2 choices

1gb ddr2 kingston 4200 twin

or

1gb ddr2 4200 cor twinx

What u guys recons the best?? heat wise and yea...

Corsair is good and so is kingston, I have had good results with both. Save up a bit and go for some faster ram tho, the prices should start comming down soon too.

Have the corsair Got a cover on them or heatsink what ever it is, where kingstons just bare ram????????????????????

Corsair's Value Select ram is very affordable these days. (and great RAM)

it doesn't have the heatspeaders, but those are more cosmetic than effective, besides, you can pick up a set of heatspreaders for just a few bucks

Right. The heatspreaders are only marginally effective, and if they're not installed correctly can actually cause your RAM to overheat. If you really want 'em, though, you can pick them up at most computer stores for $7-$10 USD.

I use Kingston myself, it's never let me down.
