When I am in Windows, I get random beeps (different patterns). I checked my temps and they were normal for a P4. Before, when I was playing Halo, my computer suddenly restarted and It wouldn't load windows. I then tried safe mode. It got to agp440 drivers and then locked. I started to get worried not and I left it off for a little. Then Windows worked fine, (except for the beeps) Is this a motherboard or ram problem?

nope, and memory tests come back ok. I let the system sit off overnight and I haven't noticed anything wrong now, maybe it just got a little too hot?

I figured it out. The video drivers needed to be updated. I still get beeps but those are thermal warnings. Arctic Silver 5 still needs to heat cycle.

HUH....AS5 will only inprove a degree or so C as it settles.
What is the warning temperature set at in BIOS? typically they are set at 70C area. If that is the case...and you are getting beeps you got a problem. If the warning is set at 50 C (for example) that would be to low.

well I forgot to mention two key things. I got a new hsf also and to fix the beeps I flashed the bios. The beeps were with a detection issue for the fan speed.

Okay....I've seen a bad fan sensor do that. Glad you got it sorted.
