Hey there,

I have the following problem:

In my Windows XP Pro machine i have a tapeunit, Travan and HP DDS4.

With both units i have problems with backup, when i tray to schedule it.
It simply does not work/run.

Even when i click in tasks on the run button, it wont run.

I use NTbackup of Microsoft from the XP cd-rom.

The goal i'am working to is to make a script, using ntbackup and than making a task of it. But that goal is far away.

I already used the internet to look for tips and tricks, but there just aint no.

Who has already used or tested this ?

Ben

I wrote a .NET program to help with the configuration of ntbackup command lines.

It works great with Win2000, but I've been having one or two issues with it on Win2003... it appears they've changed some of the rules on Win2003. I will release a new version as soon as I pin that down.

In the meantime, feel free to play with it. You can pick it up here:

Comments about it welcome... and .NET runtimes are required, FYI.
