hey guys, any idea if my DFI Nforce 4 SLI-DR motherboard will be compatible with the ATI version of SLI? Would i jsut need a bios update or a new board? _________________ DFI Nforce 4 SLI-DR

It's possible, but hmm...I'd have to do some research on that. 'cause the Nforce is obviously a Nvidia product, and until crossfire comes out, the only thing they have on ATI (since the top end cards are so similar in performance) is SLI. I don't see them wanting to support it, but they may have to, if other companies do and they don't want sales to suffer. We shall see, I guess.... _________________

you have to have an ATi chipset along with one Crossfire graphics card. And then the second card has to be of the same type as the first one, but doesnt have to be crossfire enabled. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

| Crossfire will be only work in a ATI chipset motherboard and im willing to bet that crossfire will never work in a nvidia chipset motherboard.. |

| I think currently nvidia's chipset can only work with SLI while ATi's chipset works with crossfire. |
