Ok so, I know I've asked this in alot of different ways over a long period of time, but I'm gonna shoot anyways:
I'm looking for a very good motherboard that supports Athlon 64, AGP, and DualChannel.
I really want to buy the 64 4000+, and I'm deffinately getting a 2GB pair of RAM from Corsair made for (or at least tested on) an AMD system

but I also have a X850XT that is AGP, and I am not willing to move to PIC-E just to upgrade my Proc.
I've beena fan of Intel for my whole life and my P42.8 has never let me down, but I really have been wanting to move to AMD recently for whatever reason.
Thanks guys |

If you sold that vid card and went PCI-e with SLI, in the long run, your video performance would be NASTY!!!!
But i also understand where you come from....if it aint broke dont fix it....wait....thats not it.......uhhhhhh......=P _________________

Right now SLI is a complete waste of money, Scoth keep your X850XT it will do just fine for right now, the new cores from Nvidia(G70) and ATI(R520) are comming in a couple of months it would be pointless to get a 6800GT or Ultra when something twice as good for a little bit more comes out in 2-3 months. But anyways this is a motherboard that i think you should get its AGP Socket 939 and supports dual channel.
MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra |
