Your review was great right up until it completly bypassed one major point.

Video Games.

I have been interested in buying this product but have been skeptical of it's ability to play games well. I am talking about plugging a Xbox or Ps2 into it. Past video cards I have used has done this well making it easy to really use my computer for ALL of my TV needs. It also was great for capturing video of gameplay.

What I have heard is that there is some lag. As in when you tell your character to jump, you don't see him jump until maybe a second later. A second of delay, or even any, would make game playing very frustrating.

I know this has been a important issue for many people looking for a solution for playing consoles on their computers on many forums.

Great review, Nate

one thing....the last page has a "NEXT" link at rhe bottom that loops back to the same page, instead of the "REVIEWS" page.

The question is, why would you put a console on a computer monitor?

Why would you degrade the gaming picture quality less than what you can get on a TV?

I guess you have not been to a college dorm room lately.

About 25% of my floor did not even bother bringing TV's to their dorm rooms. Instead they just used TV cards. They were not about to let the having no TV aspect get in their way of gaming.

I used to do this but have not yet with my current computer. In my apartment I plan to have a TV in the living room and my computer become a second tv in the bed room to save space and effort. I will be gaming on both.

On other forums there were just a lot of people who did not feel like moving away from their computer to play their games and just wanted to use their monitors.

Also, my monitor is about as big as my tv anyway.

A TV may be larger but a computer monitor offers a better refresh rate and better resolutions than what a TV can. And the dot pitch is better an a CRT as well. So there would not be a degradation of video quality when going from a TV to a CRT (or LCD for that matter). All that changes is the size of picture.
