|
|
For my new PC i want to get a good case, but the thing is, i expect that i will be travelling with it a fair bit, so it has to be light and not overly large...but at the same time it has to be very good at cooling and most preferably black else it will look very out of place...which i dont want.
Window doesnt matter...but if it has one its a bonus.
So...shoot with the ideas _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

Lian Li PC-3077B. Not real sexy...but, light, black, holds full size atx mobo and PSU, and cools okay. Also has a window kit available. _________________ .

i dont have a personal favorite case but a good microatx case is awesome, so much power in such a small case. also great if your on the go. actually its pretty spacey for a m-atx case.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16811144161 for about 5 bucks less you get the same kind except silver or blue case color. |

What are you putting in the case? I agree that a micro ATX is a great way to go, unless you plan on stuffing a ton of gear (or a 7800 Ultra) into it. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

Cant go for the Micro ATX really, as i am planning on unfortunatly getting a 7800 GT
Whats even worse....the Lian Li PC-3077B isnt available in the UK from what i can see
I Forgot to mention one thing to do with the size of the case, im not looking for something REALLY small, just avoiding a heavy super tower like my Xaser 3, or a Thermaltake Armour. _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

Barbaric third world country.... Keep a look out for them...they are not ultra-common here...of course newegg has em'. But they aren't a budget case with bells and whistles (or LED's and CCFL's in this case) so they aren't real popular in certain circles.
There is also the PC-7B it's about the same size and is a bit less expensive, but isn't quite as "configurable" as the 3077. The size sounds like what I thought you wanted...small...but big enough to put "real" ATX stuff in. By the time you get to the 6077 or the 7077 or the v1000 or such, they are pretty large. _________________ .

I have my rig in an ANTEC SONATA. Not a bad case. Very Quiet and not TOOOOOO bad to lug around and it has a nice understated look.
