yeah but you dont want to give them the signal for it either.....
the preamp outs should have some kind of sub control...usually volumie/gain.....and LPF and HPF.... that High Pass Filter should be set around 80-160 _________________

| Naw not on this deck. But why are you asking anyway? I'm not running a amp to my fronts and backs, they are head unit powered. Only my sub is on the preamp line and I control the LPF on the amp itself. |

i know this....but the signal you send to the interiors then is full range, meaning your interiors are getting all the sub frequencies that they dont need to be receiving.......if you can cut the interiors off at about 120, then they will leave all thebass up to the sub... _________________

See thats the problem, my head unit does not have a frequency cut off for the speakers. (And I really do not want to replace it, its only 4 months old)
But the lower frequences shouldn't effect the interior speakers, they have their own filters on the speaker itself, so it does not try to reproduce frequences its not suppost to handle. |
