Ok boys.... i have searched far and wide for some drivers for my laptop. No luck so far, and im getting seriously frustrated..... so i nominate YOU, all you bored late at night nerds, to help me.
Sony Vaio PCG-f701 (or 92b1)
I need all the drivers you can get..... its part of the 700 series.... but im just having a hard time with it.... any help would be MUCH appreciated....=D

I looked. I fired up Google, did a search. Went and got a beer. Looked at about 10 pages, went and got another beer.
All I can say is, I didn't find your drivers, but I DID discover 6 pages of Google searches can get you seriously drunk.

thanks for the effort ::Sighs:: im still tryin.....
i even called sony and they said its an international product (which of course would explain why the " is above the 2), and they have no idea how to help me.....

That's Sony.............make the MP3 player, sue the consumer for using it, make the Playstation, but steal the technology for the controllers (anybody else following that?), make the product, but supply no support for it.
I used to like Sony products, but in the last 4 years or so, I've come to regard them with something like contempt.

yeah im following that... immersion is in my home town.. and they are bootsie for tryin to get the money i mean like 2-3 bux per ps2 sold or w/e... dumb... sony shoulda bout a license for the tech. in the first place... now ... its possible they mite stopp friggin sales in u.s. ...  i still need to get a new one

Yeah, I'm following that a bit. Don't you guys find that some of the patents, in general, are not very specific?
What a blow for Sony! Wow! Does this affect both PS1 and PS2? I wonder how this will impact PS3?

I dunno, I didn't actually take the time to read them all, I'm not Sony's lawyer...... 
Obviously, the courts thought that the patent from Immersion and the product Sony sold were close enough to prove Sony ripped it off.
