No O'C on my 3500+ But card was at 506 core/526 mem. Not too bad for a 12 pipe X800 pro. Going to do antohrer one with a litte pc oc. Will post shortly

| Once I get my SLI rig on Thursday with 4000+/2gb PC-400 Ram and two 6800 Ultras, i will post some results. My old rig with 6800Gt had 13428 in 3dmark2003. |

Intel P4 3.0 O/C 3.4, EVGA 6800 ultra, 1gb Patriot dual ddr500, Thermaltake Shark case w/ 550w Aspire power, LiteON DVD/RW -- Don't have the ultra O/C'd.
Man, this graphics stuff is expensive. |

I switched from using AIbooster to the Bios Overclocking, and I found out that.... AIbooster sucks! Even with less oc'ing I managed to score higher, I also OC'd the 6800 ultra, this is for the GT guy =P

hahaha oh well, I still envy the guys who have the money (or their parents') to drop like 900 bucks on a 6800 ultra SLI rig, especially the 512 mb's(that's like 1400 dollars). They can score around 13k+  |

I know, I'm slow.......I just read back a page.
By "turning everything off", I meant everything BUT the 3DMark program.......like all the background programs, AV software, monitor software, blah blah......I run them like I play games, with my AV software, popup blocker, soundcard software, etc etc, and usually IE or FireFox running in the background with a game walkthrough if I get stuck. Real-world, not with the computer basically in safe-mode, nothing running at all except the benchies.
I didn't mean turning off all the options in the 3DMark programs, those are all on full-throttle.

| how come all the extreme overclockers disable the CPU tests in all the 3DMark benches? if im not mistaken i dont think it makes a difference in score if you dont do CPU tests its just there to show you the performence but doesn affect your score like the audio tests. |

i think its cuz sometimes those test will prove an o/c to be unstable.. while not running them will not.... (assuming(()))

^^^correct. They are running the highest possible overclock and if you run the cpu tests it might cause the system to crash and not complete the benchmark. And therefore they wouldnt get a score. So they run the minimal amount of tests they can and still get a score.
To me this is kinda cheap because you arent really testing the system as the benchmark was designed to do.
