| not really, the 3DMark series is all GPU Aquamark3 is a lot of CPU, and well Aquamark3 doesnt crash as easily as 3DMark does with me system when i OC. |

G$ is right just bragging rights. But its not much to brag about when your CPU cant handle its portion of the benchmark.
3Dmark does use the CPU in the test that is why on both 03 and 05 it runs two CPU tests. If you are overclocking to get high results show off what your overclock can do!

quite true... but as far as these guys care .. they just do that and post for a bunch of n00bs to see... so new guy can look at the score and be like whoa"" or what ever... without even knowing that the benchmarker was using an unstable clockrate and decided not to run cpu tests....
and as far as that goes .. there would be a helluva lot less high scores in forums around the net if cpu testing was required to post as a top score

I know that if i dont have a stable OC...my PC always restarts in 2003 CPU test...none of the others though.

i believe that the free version has 2 cpu tests .. but not sure since i too have the full version

Yes it does. 3Dmark05 does. The 2 cpu test that is. But I bought it any wayz.

heh... i got better results on my vid card o/c  after a full year after gettin it.... damn its good. kinda wish i got the mem up to 1.1ghz, but hey... what can ya do... still really suprised at the core clock, tho... gotta be that hsf
still thinkin about tryin to do one of those hard mods for the last 4 pipes... maybe when i have enough money to buy all new hardware i'll test my luck to try and get more life out of the system

I'm not even bothering........my CPU scores will be up, obviously, but my overall won't improve much........still saddled with a 9600 Pro. Can you say "bottleneck?"

Hey guys, on an absofrickinlutely mental PC, specs are: P4 3.8, 1gig ram, GeForce 7800 GT, etc etc...it scores a whopping 15000. Damn wish mine was this good. Not sure about 3dmark 05 score.
