Are you talking dual monitor + TV? Or a monitor + TV?
Yes, it can run 2 screens at once, but no on 3. |

doesnt the mx440 only have one vga port and one svideo cable..
so are you saying... vga monitor... plus and additional monitor through the s video.... i mean if u come across a monitor with s video u can do it.... but doubtfully... just use ur t.v. instead |

Indeed. I got two mx440's with dual heads.
I don't think dual monitor (extended desktop) works through the s-video. Only through the dual heads. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

Acutally you can, I have been able with my MSI card to have a extended desktop with the dvi and the s-video. (not sure if all dual head svideo out 440's do this) |

You can pick up a Matrox Millennium G450 AGP dualhead for about $20 on eBay. |

| Or, you can just add a 2nd video card... a PCI VGA. I've got a new one you can have for $20 + shipping, if interested. |

Yeah, using the SVGA output will work as a dual-monitor, but like the other guys said, you have to buy a rather pricey adapter to make it work, and the quality isn't all that great. I used to run three off of my old Radeon 9000......two CRT's and one TV for watching movies. Only two would work at a time, of course, but when the TV was selected, it was an extension of my desktop. Looked like hell for anything but DVDs, though. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
