| so yeah, my POS mig-tower is deffinately sub-par.. and I've been seriously considering the Lian Li PC-V2000 .... but alas it has a hefty $240 on it. Just wondering if you guys think it's a good move, the PC-V200 and my personalized water colling set will run about 550, im hoping to get it withing a few months |

You might want to look in to the case that Sandness got for his new system. It has many of the features that make the Lian Li so desireable....minus the pricetag

that's nothing like the lian-li... Completely different design
and as far as manufacturing quality, i have yet to see a company that can match lian-li
Do you really need the v2000?
it's a nice case and all, but do you need room for 12 harddrives, and a case that can fit EATX mobo's?
I have the v1100 and have more than enough room.
But anyway.... yeah it's a really sweet case. _________________ If time is of the essence,

By that, I meant same thickness of aluminum, tooless, similar weight, similar sleek, no frills style, and whatnot. I didn't notice he was lookin at the BIG one _________________ |¤

| Yeah, I've been looking at the mid-tower version, and it's not bad... but see my deterrant is the fact that i have a midtower now and sometimes i can barely get access to the backs of my drives, even with my X-Connect and rounded cables.. btu i dunno.... yay more reseach :-D |

How many drives are you planning on?
With water cooling, you may like that extra space so as to not crowd the case any more than neccessary. I'd perhaps look around "the net" and see if you can find pics of any of either size Lian Li case with watercooling installed to get an idea of how it will fit/look. If I find any good examples, I'll post 'em up _________________ |¤

That case looks very awesome. If I was able to get afford a nice case, that would be on the top of my list. _________________ Love Is Not Enough... |

I've been watching that "Black Narcissus" project log for a long time, that is one fantastic case. (did you see the red acrylic custom etched window )
If I had the money...the V2000 would be my FIRST choice _________________ Yeah....... ok |

Have you considered others such as Thermaltake (I can personally recommend those since I've got one myself) and the Coolermaster cases? They are all very good, IMO. _________________
