Is there a good program out there that can erase your tracks on the web? Making you invisible? Making it where no one knows where you have been? I dont care about what ppl see on my comp at home. I dont want to be seen to the WWW. Sort of like GhostSurf.

I had a really good anonymizer on my server, which I have actually taken down. I used to use it to fool my PC into thinking that I am outside the network (accessing your own domains from within the network made you always go to the routers log in page, i'm not 100% sure why it does this). It was really good, except I never finished integrating SSL support for it. I may put it back up but it was always, and will be, password protected for select users (for private, not general public use).
However, there are some nice anonymizers out there, check out this list:

Nothing will truly make you "invisible". If somebody wants to find you, they will. Keep in mind, with spammers trying to come up with new ways to hit you with junk emails and such, anonymizers (is that actually a word?) are under close scrutiny right now.

Any net admin worth his salt can track you back, regardless of how many proxies or redirects you use.......your machine is still connected, and can be found. It just makes it harder, but only by about 10 seconds of looking.

Also something to keep in mind, if you're a college kid. Using proxy servers and the like generally is against the TOS of your campus network, for security reasons. If you get caught, you'll likely lose your network connection, and be responsible for any damages traceable to your use of outside proxies.
