|
|
Okay, I just got my new Audigy 2 card, I bought it strictly for gaming. As soon as I installed it I noticed a huge difference. I hear though, by adjusting the equalizer settings the sounds will be even better (ie: more noticable footsteps)
Anyone have any suggestions for the correct settings? |

There isnt a preset one for games...best thing to do is mess around until you get something you like. There are lots of settings to play around with. _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

| IMO the preset of Rock makes everything sound more clear and better. |

far left is bass, far right is high. Everything else in between is mids, low mids, high mids.
There isn't a "stock" setting that will sound good anywhere. It's all dependent on your speakers, the room, the distance of the speakers from your face, etc. Just tweak each one a bit, until you get a sound you like. For example, a set of Z680's will sound excellent with one setting, but my M-Audio studio monitors will sound like crap with that same setting.

I agree with FreeTheRock. The Rock EQ is very good. I mainly listen to hip-hop and r&b and use the rock EQ. _________________ Intel Pentium 3 processor- 850MHz
