lol...
I know what you REALLY mean...lol
I am a little verbose at times.
verbose-
adj : using or containing too many words; "long-winded (or windy) speakers";
Abounding in words; using or containing more words than are necessary; tedious by a multiplicity of words;Using or containing a great and usually an excessive number of words.
see what I mean?!?!
age is a state of mind...life and death are a state of being.
hey...I just made that up....I guess I have a signature to use from now on! |

Man, that makes me an old fart!
Years are kinda misleading though!
How many trips around the sun since you were born...
Anyone wnat to calculate that in distance (kilometers, miles)?
What a concept!
Eli,
Just a little friendly advice,
Use the money you earn as you see fit while you can...
(upgrades, games, toys of all kinds, etc...)
Once you start dating (and especially get married) things begin to manipulate what you do with what is rightfully yours ($). I must have had too much coffee!
The saying "You only go around once" may be quite legitimate ya know! _________________ AMD XP 2500+ Barton

Let's see...
I am approximating 9.9589947 x 10^114 seconds (sidereal system)
or if we could assume the earth's orbit around the sun to be circlular and I neglect earth rotation I can get this approximation:
32,898,288,500,000 meters or 20,442,048,747 miles old
I think 35 years present (as of today) sounds a little better
Let's put it this way, I had an Atari 2600 when they first came out, Also had a
Texas Instruments TI-994A
That sported several games (so really good like "Hunt the Wumpus") and had BOATloads of RAM "256 bytes - Memory expansion card can be added : 4 KB or 32 KB (up to 52 KB)"
and the graphics...
Multicolor mode : 48 x 64 with 16 colors
Removable memory was a freakin' cassette tape that you could listen to as data was transferred.... arrrr-eee-arrrr-eee-arrrr (you know the modem sound)!
And you thought your machine rocked...
I think I might still have this (to put on eBay)!
Lets just say I've been around computers since WAY before the internet! _________________ AMD XP 2500+ Barton

lol.
i had the color computer 2 from tandy. man oh man... talk about computing force. i also had the tape drive. now that was fun. had to rewind and fast forward to find anything. it was such a pain in the ass. all hooked up to a black and white tv cause that's all we had to spare (my parents didn't quite get the irony of getting me a color computer and then hooking it up to a black and white tv). and it had no games. strictly basic programing. |

| Im 14, but still going strong. Death could strike me at any moment. Am I afraid....NAH. The ultimate "I" never changes. I went through a faze of being afraid of death, and that i wouldn't ever see my family again. I had a talk with my dad, he basically said: dont worry about it. I decided to rely I am self, and have no attachments, including people. To realize that "I" never changes makes me feel much better. no matter if I die and dont get reborn, if I take another form, dont remember anything from my past live, Does "I" change? What I had was called a "self realization". I dont know if you guys are getting what I am saying, but I do. It might take a while but keep it in mind, it'll help your worries, and make you feel more confident about the lives you guys lead. I read a book about this called Advita. |
