Dvd x copy does compress the audio and video. Its impossible to half the size of the disk and not lose any quality but the program is very good and the loss of quality isnt terribly noticable.

I want to use a program where i can copy a DL CSS protected disk in a 1:1 copy, with menus and all without extra pirate warning screens like dvd x copy. And with dvd x copy u can only burn one copy and then if you want another have to start the entire process again, i want to be able to make more then one, one for the car, house and backup. I have 4 younger siblings and they tend to destroy movies and at 15 bucks a pop they add up.

Im going to see if using the DVD region +CSS program with nero will work when i get my new dvd burner seeing as mines screwed. Recognized in windows but the laser isnt reading the disk and its clicking when trying to read. Will nero copy the dvd one to one with that program like menus and what. and can nero burn dual layered disks?

with DVD region + CSS and the latest version of Nero Burning rom, and a Dual Layer Disk, you can one to one back up your dvd movies!!!
