my PSU has two floppy powers at the end of two different lines. Great, if i only need one, right? If i 86 it, fixing the molex its daisy chained from, it will be ok, right???

Yep, you can 86 it....I just clip close to the bigger one up the daisy chain. then all is cool, cause it can't short.
