I don't know what the hell the deal is with that game!! All I do is play the multiplayer mode (it's addicting) but I get crashes when the maps are loading sometimes and sometimes the game just crashes to the desktop while palying. It happens in single player mode too. I have the patch and it didn't do anything. Also, from what I know D3 is very sensitive to OC CPU's so lower down the speed of the CPU if you're overclocking. _________________ ABIT IC7 MAX 3, Corsair PC4000 Pro, P4 2.6C @3.23 GHz 1:1, 2.5-4-4-7, 2 WD Raptors in RAID 0 |

I'd start with memtesting your ram. Revert to stock speeds and reformat too ? =/ _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

well turns out my drivers were f-ed up and stuff... went into the advanced display properties tab and the smartgart tab had the agp was on 0x. the drivers appeared to be corrupted... prolly from one of my not so successful mem overclocks. so i reinstalled the latest drivers and now doom runs fine...
however i have one more q... i have settings on HIGH and 1024x768 and when i turn quickly in the game i see alot of well... uh... i turn really quickly and some sections of the walls... uh... kinda stand still for a few pixels and then jump back into place... is this drivers..? or huh?
thanks erey body |

I had it saing AGP x0 once when I newly installed my 6800gt, that was because I needed to update my Chipset drivers for my mobo. Do that and it should say AGP x8 or whatever. _________________

I had some problems a while back. Read this post and maybe it will help...

Basically I found it was a sound card conflict, cause I didn't have the AC97 disabled in the bios |

Yup. That's another mistake I made, on a totally clean install. Make sure you installed the AGP drivers for your mobo, otherwise Windows will consider your AGP card a PCI card, and crash alot. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
