I have a samsung syncmaster 152T. my question is: right now, I am running it at 768x1024@ 72Hz. the monitor box says it can support 75Hz at that same resolution. and my video card, ati radeon 9500 pro, says it can support a refresh rate of 120Hz. When I go into my ATI control panal, the maximum is 120, but it says if I go over 72, then my hardware, and monitor could be damaged. I am pretty sure, that if I change it to 75 nothing bad will happen, I just wanted to seek your approval.

Thanks

Pushing it up to 75Hz will be fine, but nothing more than what is suggested as the max for your monitor at that resolution.
