I am working now, and making quite a bit of money. I have also inhereted some very expensive paintings from my grandfather. I have looked around the net for a good safe, that would fit all that stuff, but i cant find one. Do you guys know of some company that does that?
thanks |

type "security safes" into google....all of the better brands will come up.
what are the dimensions of your largest painting?

the thing is.... I am only 14 my mom doesnt work, so she is always home. I sleep in my room every night, so if there was an infader, think i would notice him trying to hual out a 350 pound safe. My mom is being really annoying, and using the same account as me, because i am only 14. and she uses paypal a lot, so she would just subtrack or add money, according to how much the thing costs. I really dont like that! I like to know where my money is, and that its SAFE.....these paintings are $2000 each, I dont want to have some bank rep drop them by accident. but yes.. it is cheaper.
thanks for the help, i think ill go and get one of those smaller Liberty safes. i bit pricey though:$300! i am going to try to get one in town so i dont have to pay shipping. |

well, it's not like tha bank is going to throw your paintings in a pile and put a padlock on a wooden door.
you will get a private container in which you place your belongings....and YOU do the placing.
the bank gets a key, and you get a key.....it takes them both to open the container, so there is little chance of any one person getting to them without it being recorded.
after having them appraised, make photo copies of the paperwork....keep one copy with the paintings, and other copies elsewhere....even on CD.
it is more likely that loss will occur from home, than at the bank.
I cannot comment on your "home situation", but you need to find a friend or relative that is old enough and you trust to open an account for you. |
