I have NOT received my video card yet, and all attempts to contact this person have failed.
The money was sent on Dec 16th, 2004, and tracking shows that it has been paid to the receiver.
I am preparing to take legal action to recover funds, so if anyone would like to send an e-mail or AIM to the seller on my behalf, I will thank you

Nate, this post is in NO WAY a reflection on the Tweak News website!
If I am out of line here please feel free to delete this post.

Thank You

Ok...The card arrived Today...FINALY

testing to commence immediately

[EDIT]

Card is NOT Operational
Card was VERY POORLY packaged...Wrapped in newspaper, and stuffed into a box. The copper ramsinks were floating about in the box, as they were only being held in place with non-adhesive thermal grease.
On first start-up, there was massive corruption of display.
Upon removal of the card, and inspecting with a magnifying glass, I found one of the SMALLEST surface-mount resistors on the back of the card to have been dislodged on one end, no doubt caused by the loose ramsinks contacting it.

After what I went through to get the card in the first place, I doubt there will be any kind of help from this seller

I'm open to any suggestions on how to fix this

BUYER BEWARE

Yeah dude, take some legal action for your W.U. transfer. The card worked before I shipped it, and it took a while to get all the info I needed for the goddamn form I had to fill out. There weren't any ramsinks on the back of the card, either. Come beat me with a baseball bat, I'll stuff you full of newspapers too. Thanks for the $150!!! =) =) =)

There weren't any ramsinks ANYWHERE on the card, they were Rattling around in the Shitty Packing job you did...knocking resistors off the card.
The card was DOA

the only info you neede for western union was my name and the city I live in, which I provided you first thing, and YOUR name and address, which I guess you had a hard time remembering..(Three Weeks...LMAO).

You didn't even ship it until AFTER I mentioned legal action, (which BTW, I had too send to your Neighbor, because you REFUSED to answer ANY of my e-mails, or phone calls.

For the record...I NEVER threatened you with Physical Violence...but if you want to stuff papers....BRING IT

Ham_fisT,

If you want to talk to the local authorities, I am more than willing to help you.

adrenaline,

Improper packaging is not the fault of the buyer, it is YOUR problem. You are responsible to make this right in this matter. Just because it was working when you shipped it doesn't mean you throw it in a box with newspaper and who cares what the shape it is in when it gets there.

Right now, your actions are that of a CRIMINAL.

Refund the money to him ,,,,NOW!!!

Here are pictures of the card as it was packaged..

the retail box was folded up, and stuffed into the Priority Mail box..

the card was folded in newspaper, stuffed in the retail box liner, and crammed into the shipping box..

then the box was crammed with newspaper, and these things were thrown in..

as you can see from the thermal paste on the ramsinks, and ram chips on the front of the card, they came ff during shipping, and rattled around inside, knocking off 1 very small resistor, and 1 very small capacitor, damage was only evident upon examination with a very powerfull magnifying glass, or there would be pictures of that too.
