A blowhole is a nice way to drop temps. Check out the cases and modding section. There are several ways to do this in one thread.

What is the condition of your case and what do you have cooling your CPU and GPU at this moment in time?

When we know what you have, we can give you some suggestions of what to add, and maybe take away.

A side fan and a Blow hole would help you out...but my reccomendation would be for you to get yourself a proper CPU cooler, this will give you the best results.

also, put the machine on the floor, I've found this drops temps by 2-5c all on its own. Make sure your wiring is tidy and out of the way, that should also help without having to by new cooling kit. As josh said tho, a diecent hsf will improve things significantly.

Bah!! don't ask.. demand.. Tell them that if you do not get the proper cooling in time, the computer will explode and leak radiation everywhere! Who knows... they might go for it.

keep in mind, if the mobo is an abit, the temp readings are around 10-15 degrees more than the actual value

This is an abit p4 problem but it is good to address nonetheless.
Madcat has a soltek mobo if i am not mistaken. Does anyone know how they read?

I don't know much about Soltek.. I just want to add a little to the Abit temp readings. JW sttated its a P4 / Abit problem. I just wanted to clarify by saying that it only applies to that combination. AMD seems to read fine. Between my BIOS readings, my MBM readings, and my temperature probe readings.. I would say there is maybe 1-2 degrees C in difference. And that could be just from the extra effort used during startup.

Agreed from my experience with my NF7 and 2400+, 2C difference if that between software and BIOS.

Just looked that one up, i think that it'll make things run nice and cool for you. When i had my athlon xp (first one) i used a coolmaster setup, thermaltake is good too (second athlon xp). But i think you'll find things will be much cooler now.
