Ok, this is gonna sound like a dumb question but what do you use to take cpu temps and case temps, etc?
As ive heard numerous members say that the temp probes of the mobos are inaccurate |

pretty much no matter which method you use, onboard sensors or external probes, you wont get an EXACT temp reading. But with either method you can at least monitor them and have an idea of what your system is doing.
There is usually a monitoring program included on the motherboard's CD. It just depends on the manufacturer as to what the name of it is. Or you can use Motherboard Monitor 5, if it has support for your motherboard (this is becoming a bigger problem with the newer motherboards since MBM5 is no longer supported by the programmer that made it).
You also have the external devices that you can use to monito temps. The only trouble with these is they can add clutter to the wiring of your case. But are usually easy to read the different temps. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

If you are curious about your temps, you can go to the mobo manufacturer's website and download their utility or get MBM. If you have any questions or don't think your temp reading is very accurate, ask around here. We've all had experience with most motherboards out there. We should be able to tell you if its accurate or not.
FYI - your motherboard must support the function of thermal monitoring also. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

check on the disk that came with your mobo, there is usually one on there, unless you have a brand name PC or didn't get the disk. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock
