after reading some reviews on speakers, I found that most every speaker system comes with horrible speaker cable. What exactly is monster cable? does it increase the sound quality, or what?

Thanks

thicker cable is only needed when you are spanning long distances with your speakers. Larger wire means less resistance and that means less sound lost over distance.

Most computer speakers are not overly powerful, so, the larger wire is not needed.
