This is a client for a non-profit group. Basic idea is to develop better drugs for disease. :)

Simple speed tweaks:

Turn off the animations and all the sail goes to the client.
Shutting off the Agent (the pretty part) and leaving the engine to crunch saves an hour. Also duals, quads all that stuff just need their own directory and it is seed based, so multiple downloads.

It works out to about 33% savings across the board over all-on. ~15% over animation stopped, wire-frame, and every other thing you can turn off off. So it's well worth it to kill the agent and leave the engine running.

You can set the number of tasks to download with each target from 50-2000.

Turn off any screen savers or set to blank screen. when leaving the cruncher for a number of hours, shut down any unnecessary tasks or programs to help save memory and reduce reduce the overheads on the CPU to speed the cruncher up.
