well, that all depends upon spacial area and the decal itself. If the decal is made to be stuck on the inner side of the glass, then no. If it is made to be stuck to the outside, then you may be in luck. Window stickers TEND to be highly adhesive and stretch by some amount. As long as you aren't overlapping any kind of logo on your laptop, you should be golden. Be sure to clean the surface with denatured alcohol, then dry, and begin adhesion from the center, smoothing out bubbles and keeping the unstuck areas taunt. Magic!

^^ agreed.
If you have a sticker made for the inside of the glass, why not use a pice of polycarbonate sheet from the front of a CD case and apply the sticker on one side, and then flip it over and attach that to the case. could look good with a small LED behind (easy to power of a laptop).

Actually, if you want a cool look, try installing one of the nice designs used for chrome fan guards. I have seen a few with this mod used in most places on laptops, even on the back of the TFT pannel, with LEDs behind it. VERY cool.
A skull and cross-bones would be just right on a laptop Very "Hackers"

in keeping the "hackers" theme, you could also get some stencils and spray paint for the keyboard....

I used gold spray paint ont he case of my old 386 lappy, a nice gold cannabis leaf :)
You could try a varient on the comabat theme, instead of green / brown try black / blue /gray/ white (night camo).
