Is Halo the best game ever or what?
Please post any cheats, tips, hints, ect, that you have. I will read them with care. Only because my buddy is better then me and i want to kick his ass.

I love the multiplayer campaigns but a good lan party is fun.

I suggest using the right weapons at the right time.
A charged plasma pistol will take out shields
Shotgun - awesome close range weapon (within 10yards or so)
AR - awesome semi-long distance gun (usually up to 25 yards)
Sniper rifle is obviously good to use at long distances but don't underestimate its short range capabilities.
Pistol = best friend - 3 shots to the head kills. always go for head shots. Its a good short and long range weapon.
Plasma rifle - use when you are following someone so you can slow them down and use the melee attack to the back.

Always keep the powerups (camo and overshield) away from your opponents.
Keep the rocket launcher away from them too. Hide in the shadows and try to always know where your enemy is. Don't give away your position unless you know you can kill them.
Throw grenades where your opponent will be and then shoot them.

Those are just a few tips that may or may not be very obvious.

i love the campaign as well mind you.....but just not QUITE as much.......

yes pistol whipping is key.......
and plasmas against eletes are key as well........learn to jump well.....awesome grenade placement, anticipate where thay are going.......

and get used to having a high look sensitivity
helps for those fast turn arounds....=]

Pistol whipping, melee attacks, ganking. . . all the same thing but are definately key. Very important to either crouch rapidly, switch weapons rapidly, or gank the corpse to insult and aggrivate the enemy.

If you get really good, you can crouch down and shoot the corpse with the rocket launcher while standing on top of it. You will probably kill yourself but it is the ultimate taunt IMOHO.

strafing and jumping are good things to do too. Try to stay hidden as best as possible. Hugging certain walls will help you avoid the enemy.

PS - Halo CE is awesome and you should definately try it.
