I'm going to make a cool (I hope) comp for my wife for Christmas. I want to hide the CD drive and open/close it from a remote button located elsewhere on the front panel.

I"m sure I'm not the first to think of this and was wondering if anyone has done/seen this mod.

I took a couple of drives I have laying around apart and I think I can get some wires soldered to the board from the existing switch. I assume the new switch will have to be sp/st no.

Any help would be appreciated.
