I have been dooming since last night(

) , and i would just like to take the time to ask people what their, either favorite, least favorite, most poopie in boxer shorts, ect. moments.

for me, the most poopie came when you get the plasma rifle and like 15 imps come out and they're all "SUP? MIND IF I THROW FIRE BALLS AT YOU? WELL, TOUGH." (when you get the chain gun (not the machinegun, the chaingun) comes in close second)

my least favorite is you go down this short flight of stairs, and 20000000000 or so spiders attack you from behind, so you turn around, but then you get shot in the back by like 6 dudes with machine guns, and then you die.

My favorite part is when you play the mesage from the dude with the bfg, and the second place for least favorite, when he says it's in his office in delta

Man, those spiders creep me out like you wouldn't believe.

The scariest is when the hiddens doors fly open with the fireball thrower swiping at your within a 1/2 of a second.

The other is when the floor grates just fly up for no reason out of no where.

go to circut city, doom 3 is on sale, i got mine for only 44 bucks (instead of 54)

Q, can corpes come back to life? since im also an RE player, i tend to use several rounds destroying every corpse i see, just to make sure.

also, has anyone ever notice that you always get tricked, like there will be ammo and armor lying around but when you get it, a zombie is suddenly right behind you? I always freak out cause i never know where they are lol, or maybe its just me :/

man, im going to best buy, and im getting 10 bucks back, im that broke, they will refund u the money if u find something cheaper in the 2 weeks or a month after u bought it... i cant remember which one though...

I found some cool doom 3 stuff that us people may enjoy. These are techniquely cheats but they dont alter the gameplay except the last 2. Please dont post godmod cheats and whatnots, it only ruins the game

Push [Ctrl] + [Alt] + ~ to visualize the console window.
code: benchmark = Game benchmark
code: gfxinfo = Display graphics card details
code: com_drawfps2 1 = Show framerate
code: give doom95 = Classic 1995 version
code: timedemo demo1.demo = Benchmark test

Nightmare difficulty setting:
Using your text editor to edit the "doomconfig.cfg" file in the game folder. Find the line:

"seta g_nightmare "0"
and change it to:
seta g_nightmare "1"

Third person view:
Using your text editor to edit the "doomconfig.cfg" file in the game folder. Add the following line to the file, the press P during game play:

bind "p" "toggle pm_thirdperson"

here is a warning that you need to give your girlfriend/wife. When you are playing Doom3 in the dark with the surround sound turned up your back to the rest of the room. Tell her NOT to walk up and put her hand on your shoulder or neck! Lets just say your heart skips a beat as you think that an Imp (fireball throwin' fools) has some how gotten behind you.

The best part is crawling thru some of the tunnels that are dark. You can either have your flashlight out or you can be in the dark with your good ole' shottie out. Either way it can be a tense situation.

Scariest parts for me:

*SPOILERS*
dont remember where at exactly, but the floor drops, and you see this helmet, and if you go get it, your screens are blurry, and there is the really loud screaming (lasts for about 20 seconds) and a bunch of monsters come out.

another time, is when the screen turns blood red, and you hear this lady say "they took my baby from me" and you see bloody foot prints appear across the floor, and she says "follow me"

you will see the footprints appear alot in the game, just gotta watch for them.

hope i didnt spoil it for you, i did warn you

yeah i always blast the corpses before i even enter a room, even if the person just died, i say "sorry bud i cant trust ya" bam bam bam ::dissapears::

Okay just got back from Mars...Had to share this because of this thread.

So I'm walking down this hall, dark usual chit, things jump out, waste with shottie...pretty normal. (on Mars) Pull out trustie flashlight to check things out, and one of them corpses is hanging upside down in front of me...pinata...I couldn't stop LMAO...the dogs think I'm crazy.
