I played it. Its quite impressive in all honesty,i really loved the shadows and lighting,im kinda dissapointed in ym x800 performance though,i cant play it in 1280 by 1024 with highest detail,i kept it on high.. and experiencesome frame drops in intense battles.

I installed it today. It rocks! But I only walked around the beginning for a few seconds and such because with my 1133 MHz Athlon, it is jerky. I don't wanna ruin my game experience with a choppy screen. :) Tomorrow I am going to get me a Athlon XP 2600+ so that should make a big difference in my game performance. :)

hey i was wondering if i could run doom 3 on the following sys.. i dont wanna spend all that money for the game if its not goin to run decent enough

asus a78x deluxe board
amd 2400xp
256 ram ( ouch), thats being upgraded when i get paid
goin w/ 1gig of Corsair pc 3200
vid - Radeon 9000pro 128mb ( thats my worry)
i did upgrade to direct x 9.0 from the windows updates...

well let me know if i should go get it - i would love to play it casue it looks great, and i have beated the older dooms

You will probably be fine after upgrading that ram.

The minimum ram requirement is like 362 or something. If everything else is up to part, then the video card shouldn't hold you back much. Upgrading to a 9600 pro or a 9800 pro wouldn't hurt though.

Man this is a great game but to scary for me! My girlfriend has to play when I look ends upp I start too shute and see get`s scarde

game runns relly fine @ 1024 high only little lag when opening dors maby 1024 ram would make a differens or som relly good videocard but hey asslong ass it is play abel play
