Well, i got my new case and lights and what not up and running, so i will post a few pics of it, there will be more, but these should keep you all tidied over for now, i need to get my bluetooth going for more pics!

As the beast steps up to destroy and devour the old case, the white and bluey has nowhere to run, or hide!

Thats the side window on my case, the brightness being 1 of my 2 cold cathode red lights.

The inside glows with a red tint, you can see 1 of the 3 new rounded IDE cables i got and alot of power splitters..damn the 7 fans

Well, im happy, my only complaint is that i need a hand from my bro to carry it as its so big and heavy, i cant get a proper grip...but it barely changes room, so no worries!

Case Temps are 23C idle, 27-30C load depending on room temp. My CPU is doing nothing but be hot, so i will get it sorted one day.

Great new setup bro. You need a bit of cable management though.

Make sure you don't have too many fans on one line (no more than 3 per line) otherwise it will draw too much current and quite possibly burn the line.

I have no more to 2 on each line.

Yeah, i need cable management, but there are so many wires, and as they go in different directions, it is hard to manage them

But i will sort it out eventually.

the fans are like so:

Fan 1 - blowhole
Fan 2 - 2 exhaust
Fan 3 - 2 side
Fan 4 - 2 front

OMG, I can see it now. Josh on a TN tour, "The North American Holiday". LAN parties, mountain dew, and disneyland.
Make for a good story though.

Nice..ohhhhh colors... yea so many cables, same with my dad. he has the same case as yours. i agree cables need to be cleaned up but nothing like zip ties and 1-2 hours of your precious time.

Well, i spent 2 hours getting the cables a bit neater, and the windowed area looks a whole lot better for it. This is about the only problem with the case, the fact you need 3 sets of wires at the front, 4 to the back and alot at the top for the fan controller. So here it is, i feel this is the best i can do without sleeving, so let me know what you think...good or bad, and be honest please.

Thats from the same position as my first pic before, you can see that quite a few wires from the 1st pic, are no longer there!

There is the section by my RAM....ALOT tidier, i could barely see the RAM before .

Over by my crappy aero 7+.

Here is the blow hole, you can just make out the fact that i stuffed all the wires above the PSU, they cant be seen no more, yay!

^^^I totally forgot about the front LED until i was tidying this afternoon as the cable for it was hidden..so all is going on my case now!

Nice.. A trick I found for hiding some cable is to zip tie them behind the support rails for the PSU.. this way you can run them down the corners of the case if they need to get to the side door. I'll post some pics as to what I mean later tonight when I get home from work. Nice case man.. the box looks good.

Yeah, i did try that technique in a few places, but due to the size of the case, none of the cables were long enough to take the full route, and unfortunately, my Q-Tec PSU has smaller power cables than your standard PSU, which sucks

very good tip ZF those rails make wonderful places to hide wiring.

Looking good there Josh.

Looks much better josh......but still needs work for perfection......as long as YOU like it...then youre set.......i like the case though too.......GREAT WORK

Most of the problems with hiding wires i have found has been length.......Most of the standard wires that some on products nowadays are wayyyy to short for us who are neat.........time to get a spool of 18gauge speaker wire and make some of your own extensions.......hopefully with this new psu i will finally be able to sleeve my wires and make all the necessary changes to get rid of all these wires....=]

Lookin very nice Josh! For my wire management, i put the wires behind my mobo tray and taped 'em up a little. that will change with the new case arriving some day, as i will actually sleeve them, with cable sleeving.

Yeah, one day i will sleeve my cables, but i have got my CPU temps down by 2C, so it cant be all that bad.

When i get a new HSF, i will sleeve my wires!

Yeah, not great, but its a bit.

I think i need a new HSF personally, right now my case is 22C and my CPU is 35C ( i have my window open)

My case hasn't gone above 28C yet either, CPU load is around 41C-46C depending on room, but my i have decided my aero 7 sucks

41C-46C is absolutely fine for your setup. Save the money and get some new ram or a new video card. A new HSF is prolly just not worth the small drop in temps.

I SHOULD have 1 gig o'RAM, but at the mo, no go some of ya know what im on about, but i wont say what it is...

Vid card will be done as soon as my grandad decides to let me build him a new comp.

Nice Josh, much better. Maybe you could get y'rself some nice uv reactive electrical tape and carefully tape up your cables, then when you sleeve them the uv will glow through the sleeving and it means your wires are tidier untill you do, just my 2p

Thats a pretty cool idea, but i only have red cold cathodes...not UV ones, so i could just use a mix of red and black electrical tape...or just one color!

When you sleeve you wires..isnt it awkward when you change your PSU or something and you have to undo all your connections? Just a thought... :)

no, u dont remove the sleeving, u just redo the next power supply with more sleeving... thats why u should just buy a good one and have it for a while if ur going to sleeve.
