I didn't think they had dremels but I guess you learn something new every day.

That is a pretty nice place, Med. I would recommend a case mod. Blowhole, window, etches or something, and maybe some lights. Nice easy start.

Also, try to improve air flow some way or another.

Just my suggestions but the possibilities are endless . . .

Paint the case and maybe mod the window itself? You could try different graphics or decals on it.

Sleeve your cables, that takes ages apparently and increases air flow!

Install a "panic button" on your keyboard. Bi red button that says "PANIC" on it. Actually... take yourescpe button and paint it read and write "PANIC" on it.

i like that idea, but it would have to electronicly activate the alt and f4 buttons if i were to do a panic button.

Actually not a bad idea. Re-use the worthless extra keys on half of these KB's and re-assign them to Ctrl-z, Ctrl-c, Ctrl-v, etc. And as you say the alt- set of windows shortcuts.
Oh crap now there would be more shortcut buttons than keys. How about re-routing the vol+ and vol- buttons to run the security settings up and down in IE.

i've taken the board apart and have determined that this mod would take more time and resources that i have at my disposal. However, this mod wouldn't be too hard to do useing some software, but i don't have that deep of programing skills.

however, this has been a learning experience, so i now know how to mod wasd keys, in the winter, when i can go out doors for more that two minutes.

That is a cool idea, or maybe a self destruct button? This could be implemented into win 98 OS (and whatever else uses this) and could be a shortcut to Ctrl+Alt+Delete *2

ALT + F4 or Ctrl+ Alt + Del would make fun panic combinations. Or maybe even 9 if you play BF

LMAO. Man i need to take some time off for modding. S, E, 9 . . . na, i prefer the down arrow, W, E, then 9 . . . essentially a suicide bomber but sometimes you can make it.

Oh yeah, have you ever taken a helicopter as far up as possible, go into one hell of a tail spin while still climbing and jump out. Its fun to try and fly around and around the helicopter . . . until you hit it and die which is hilarious.
If you play the DC mod, you can also be a support guy, drop the mortar while your falling, and use it in the air. Its pretty cool when you fall . . . YOU ACTUALLY LIVE. I have a million of these things but this isn't the thread for it.

Modding Ideas!

well it has to be something cool and most likely not practical :) ive installed a LED at the front of my case with a sound sensitive module so that it flashes to the bass beats when i have music playing. :) or if im talking, its like ive created AI!

also round ATA cables that are UV reflective are a great and cheap addition, not to mention the above LED idea, ended up costing less than $20.

has anyone seen those all clear plastic cases? in someways i like them in others i dont.

Also when im keen to do some modding but dont know what i always have a look through this site http://www.pccasegear.com/ its full of funky stuff :)
