| um... im looking to buy 2 90 millimeter blue led fans with like 90x90x25 sizing. These arnt the same as 92mm ones right? I cant find any 90mm led fans. I also cant find an aluminum filter for this size or a fan grill (I want a laser cut one.) any help or links would be appreciated. If i was to just buy the 92mm ones could i use some good old fashion puzzle tecnhiques to make it fit (mental image of slamming pieces where they dont fit lol) or will it fit anyways? |

these are the only 90mm fans i could find, and they come with an 80mm to 90mm adapter
and a pretty cool grill
if you are replacing standard type fans, they are probably 92mm! _________________ Yeah....... ok |

http://www.thermaltake.com/XaserCase/lanfire/vm2000a.htm
I thought that they should be 92 as well but Thermaltake says 90.
Im going to shut down and actually look at them. In the meantime though do u know if say a 92 mm fan grill and filter and fan would fit... its only 2 mm right? |

ummmm...I think they are 90mm...but if you use the adapter you could use an 80mm grill,
but I think that would only work as an exaust, perhaps a top blowhole! _________________ Yeah....... ok |

90mm is a leftover from the pre-metric days. it's the U.S.'s 3 5/8" hole center design.
They should be for all practical purposes, interchangable. _________________ .

frozencpu.com has a great selection!
they also have ccfl kits on sale right now, $5.99 for a dual 12" kit!
I just sleeved my entire case, and it took about 5 ft of 1/2", 20 Ft of 1/4", and 15 ft of 1/8",
but I have a lot of extra cables from the chaintech front panel drive unit.
Use a hair-drier to shrink the heat-shrink, NOT a lighter! _________________ Yeah....... ok |

i think they were $24.99, but not sure
they are about 12 1/4 " in length, and come with a pci slot-cover mounted switch! very nice construction, I got the Dual UV set, and it lights up my sleeving nicely, (UV Green) _________________ Yeah....... ok |

I bought a foot of 1", 2 foot of 1/2", and 5 foot of 1/4", you will have extra, but it's cheap!
what size you need for each wire bundle is trial and error, but mostly, its symetrical,(1/4" heat shrink on 1/4" sleeve).
(ask all the questions you have, no problem) :^)
oh yeah.. I took apart an old radio antenna, the telescoping kind, and found two pieces that work well for removing Molex pins, (Beats buying one for 10 bux)
have fun! _________________ Yeah....... ok |

0 key gets jammed unnoticed while he moves the cursor over to buy.....next day....deliver for Mr.Suck, brings box in on trolley, just sign here please.....opens box....sleeving jumps out expanding to cover the whole room...you die of suffocation whilst your screams cannot be heard.
^^^that is the worst case scenario of ordering cable sleeving _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

yes Frozencpu.com is a great place for all that kind of stuff. And they have a very cool selection of psu's. It seems like they have some of the best quality psu's out there. The only down side is they are rather expensive. But for watercooling and other cooling supplies they are great. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

that... or everything in his house will soon have a pretty UV reactive blue sleeving, including the dog's tail, the toaster, all the lamps, stereo gear, televisions, etc...
finally he runs out of sleeving, completely forgetting to sleeve his computer!
so..back to frozencpu.com for 200 yds more!!!! _________________ Yeah....... ok |
