I use an Antec SX1030B and I love it. I plan on doing some case modding soon when I get some new tools: I'll be making a window and adding a cold cathode tube with some schweet Blue LED's for the front and maybe a Rheobus for the 7 fans inside. I'd like to spray paint it aluminum (or black)...but that'll have to wait till much later.
I wrote a review over this case (soon to be revised) here: http://www.xtremepccentral.com/modules.php?name=Reviews&rop=showcontent&id=4. |

i used a silver aluminum Chieftec DX-01YD w/full sized side window.
Put in two color case fans (in front, blue and green), also have a dual colored cathode (blue and green). At night the green and blue fans create a nice blue and green halos in front.
My system (need to upgrade soon)
Athlon XP 2000+
640MB PC2100 DDR
60 GB and 100GB harddrives
DVD+R/+RW burner
Dual output Geforce 4 mx440 (dual rgbs)
5 case fans.
matching silver lcds and peripherials. _________________ 'knowledge is power, spread the power' |

Dude - your system specs are fine! Compared to me, your system is flying...if you're up for some overclocking then that'll extend the life of your system a bit more.
I still have an 'ol 1.2GHz TBird w/384MB PC133 and GeForce2 MX400 not to mention my dimunitive 40GB WD HD. |

Those are awesome for watercoling setups.
You can have one side for the radiator, pump and resevoir and the other for tha actual system. _________________ Owner & Administrator

Yah, probably a couple windows and some better lighting. Not 100% sure yet. Lots can be done and I want to be as creative as possible. I just don't want to screw up. These are more expensive than a Lian Li PC70 |

Dude I have new computers but I still use my OLD COMPUTER
Intel BX 440 Chipset and motherboard with built in sound.
ATI RAGE 128po
Intel PII 450mghz
348mb ram
13gb ata100
18gb scsi ultra 15000rpm
50gb scsi ultra 15000rpm
Windows 2000 Pro
I swear that computer may be somewhat slow but it rock solid.
On benchmark tests it was beating my prossfers 2.0ghz with 2gbram of computer so I must have I must configured windows right.
TIPS
Disabled virtual memory.
Reboot computer!
Defrag harddive!
Enabled virtual memory.
Set BOTH fields to 1024.
That way your page file will never have fragments.
I found that to speed this computer up a ton.
I only use this computer for coding and surfing the web and running a webserver. So it meets my needs in that department. On the other hand I use a newer computer to play games. I have not thrown this computer out because in the 5 years I have owned it, it has not crashed once EVER. |

Chieftec Matrix full tower, carbon black.
Got it because it has enough space above the powersupply to add a dual radiator with fans and some space between the rad and the fans. Very nice case, lot's of room, good quality. No idea how silent it is un-modded, since i have 2 holes in the top with 150cfm fans on the top, lol... pouring out around 48DBA together, pretty loud. |
