Everyday there are numerous people who begin there day by emailing several of the same people. Now, I'm sure that one of those people are you and you may spend more time than you'd like opening the email client, going through the menu's to create a new message, and finding the contact you're sending it to.

Well, here's a shortcut that'll automagically start your e-mail client, begin a new message addressed to whatever person you pre-set, with just one mouse click!

  • Right-click on the Desktop and choose New, Shortcut
  • In the Command Line box type mailto: then enter the intended recipient's email address (i.e. "mailto:jadison@mailserver.com" w/out quotes).
  • Save the shortcut to the desktop or move it to the Start Menu or Quick Launch bar so it's good to go.
