Which one would do a better job at cooling (I am overclocking) the Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu (or CNPS7000-Cu, they are pretty much the same) and the Thermaltake AquariusIII Water cooling solution.

I know they're different, one's a HSF and the other a water cooling kit. Noise in either case doesn't bother me as my computer already sounds like a vacuum (only j/k). I originally thought that water cooling would bring about much lower temperatures but this doesn't seem the case after all.

Thanks,

Zhenya.

Word of warning, Thermaltake watercooling kits are not very good.

Right, I found the AquariusIII for £130. The Zalman cooler I mentioned comes in at around £35.

I think I may get the Zalman for now anyway, and get a water cooling kit later.

Btw, could you suggest some good water cooling kits. I know Thermaltake aren't the best at them, but it's a really neat little package, on top of that it's all ready made (no cutting tubes, etc) and will complement my blue XaserIII case nicely.

Cheers,

Zhenya.

Yeah those little kits like that dont do very much for you. Or at least nothing that a good HSF wont do. But if you are in the market for a watercooling kit I would suggest going to DangerDen.

What about the Zalman Reserator 1. Is that any good?

That I dont know. But from what I do know about it, it is not one that would be easily transported. But that is something of personal taste, I prefer an all in one case solution.
