I think its gonna be well worth the long wait for the release date.

I think Stalker will be just as good if not better, so maybe we'll have a couple great games coming out soon. Meanwhile I think Far Cry will keep me occupied till then, great game.

I can't believe you are acctually trusting Amazon. They don't know anything about release dates. That is just an estimate, and probally a bad one. I won't believe anything until Sierra says a release date, and I won't believe any Doom3 release dates until Id gives one.

this game looks great and all...but i don't think i'll be buying it unless it has multiplayer..and correct me if i'm wrong but i've heard it doesn't. I know the game will be great single player, but I enjoy playing games with friends with my headphones and with a mic and ventrilo servers, etc. Multiplay is the only thing that really interests me now unless the single player game is SOOOO good that I don't even think about multiplayer, in which case i'll play it.

half life 2 does have multiplayer, i am on a mod team for it,

Man King what are you talking about? Do you realize what Half-Life was/is? The most heavily modified game ever realesed. It would make sense that the sequel will be just as modified, if not more. There are probally a dozen or more mod teams active for Half-Life 2. It is not illegal to be modeling objects for you mod, creating maps, or writing the story for you mod. You just can't implement these objects until the game is released. So being part of a mod team is illegal? Far from it.

okay..but i meant like there will be no multiplayer provided in the game, meaning no good multiplayer like you will find in a game that has multiplayer such as UT2K4. I pretty much only like games that have multiplayer, if they have a great single player thats a plus and i'll play it, but I primarily play games with multiplayer, ie: battlefield vietnam, CoD, counter-strike, Doom 3 (In future), etc.

I don't know where you heard that. I've heard of different version coming out, one with just singleplayer, one just multiplayer, one both. I don't know if that is true or not, but I'm pretty sure it will have multiplayer. If not, then the only reason they left it out is casue they plan on releasing Team Fortress 2 soon. But still I believe it will come with multiplayer, there isn't really a reason why it wouldn't.

Yeah that lip synching technology is awesome. The games that are gonna be coming out are revolutionary. I don't know which one I'm more excited about. I'm picking when acctually buying games. The last good game I bought was Starcraft or Half-Life probally

. I mean I've got Quake 3 and both GTAs, but I still play Starcraft and Half-Life some. The mods for HL2 will be awesome and so will the game. Doom 3 will be scarey as hell. Hrmm tought choice, good thing I got that voucher for HL2, now I won't feel so bad about getting Doom3 and a 5.1 setup.

I havent tried it myself yet seeing as it takes forever to download on 56k (its 38mb) but according to zhensem its quite amusing.

It's ok. Stop complaining about 56k, that's twice as fast as I download

. But the game is pretty impressive. Probally the best flash game that I've played, but the controls are awkward. You aim where your mouse is, and for a side scroller that just feels weird. I dunno though other people may love it.

Btw, that game has the antigrav gun, you know, the one for HL2 that can pick up remote objects and then you can throw them at anyone/anything.

The entire games is amusing, and there's also a bonus game where you, Gordon Freeman, have to stop pigeons from landing, otherwise you lose points!
