Has anyone built their own case?
I'm planning to make mine in wood, but I'm a bit uncertain about how big I need it (wan't to keep it as small as possible).
I'm gonna use an external powersupply, more like the one for laptops, and a slim cd rom. Don't know if I'm gonna use a 3,5 or 2,5 harddisk, because I wan't it small but not very much slower.
Could anyone who has built one, give me some advice on these 'problems'?

Thanks

I've never built one before, but I suggest you build one with similar dimensions to one of these cases:

Here's one that's made with wood, called the Humidor (you might find this helpful): http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/humidorm/ , here's his email if you'd like to get further help: slipperyskip@alltel.net

- http://www.procase.com.tw/minicase.htm --> this one is quite small and may be what ur looking for

- and the most common form: http://us.shuttle.com/specs2.asp?pro_id=85

If you want to use a 2.5" drive (you can find one's w/similar speeds to regular-sized HDs btw) you'll need to use this compact 2.5" HDD Converter found HERE.

Good luck! :)
