This is the product in question from http://newegg.com.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional - Full Version OEM

I am going to install this on a new build computer. And I wanted to know if the OS would install on it. I know it says Full Version. I just want to make sure if it will install on a new computer (new HD, new everything) with out a problem.

This is going to be the first time I build a computer. I think I will be getting most of the parts from newegg.com. Has anyone have anything to say about newegg.com or.. something i should know about it? Thanks, I hope I didn't sound like too much of a newb.. -.-'

oh, also if someone could post/email if theyknow of a site that has some info on installing the OS, since I haven't done it on a new computer before and it would be nice if I could just look over it online so I know a little more about everything.

I was going to post the same question. Even though it says "Full Version," it's $170 cheaper than going to Best Buy! Even for NewEgg, damn!

Yeah, not the most ideal thing when you first install your OS and the next thing you do is download a bunch of patches to fix what you just put in.

NewEgg gets some of the highest ratings. I've bought from them and really appreciated the quick delivery AND no shipping on some items.

I just built a computer and would recommend buying the motherboard and OEM from someone you can reach out and touch. Sending a motherboard back is a pain. All the other stuff is negotiable.
