i have a problem with my router (i think)...ok the speed for my cable works fine on the main comp (with the modem and stuff) but the one that i connected inside my room keep going really slow or fast for some of the times but mostly its slow so does anyone have any suggestion how to fix this cause its making me pretty angry like i want both of them to go at the same speed...my router is the dlink DI-604 its not wireless....and i saw that nathan's tweaked his comp to go to like 2meg?? so i wanna know like are there any tweak you could give me to improve my cable connections.....thanks in advance

Upgrade your router firmware.

Also, tell your cable company that you have a router setup, they need to know that.

Download that .bin to your computer, go admin the router, and there will be an option for firmware upgrade somewhere in there. Direct that to the .bin file you have, and the router should take care of itself.

Oh, and make sure you use the right .bin.
