Get long optical cables. Everything you need to worry about stems from the control pod. I had the same problem. It might take a week or two to find the correct placement of speakers versus control pod placement versus computer placement versus dvd/xbos placement. I actually found this to be the only problem with Z680's. The control pod isnt on a long enough cable and is connected to the sub.
