Hey fellas, forum newbie here. I work at another Computer Store. I seek advice in unlocking XP Multipliers. Ive read the articles detailing the use of thermal paste, non conductive liquids and pins and im still not happy, Nathan, you seem to be like a hardware man, maybe you could get back to to me with some answers

Picture your self in a small tech lab with the reqular stuff, what thermal compounds and non-conductive stuff can you think of that would be laying around and would be useable, as i am not going to order no goddamn kit.

*beep* , my cpu fried, got thermal paint on pins on other side, *beep* , and at the moment im out of pocket , *beep* me dead..... oh well, something different for the day.

Well its work again and im looking at my prcoessless motherboard, thinking of options, anyone no what the go is with the 2600+, as well does anyone no if its possible or if anyone has been given a amd athlon XP chip already unlocked.

I saw a 2600 for $143.97. Thats where I get most of my stuff when I order online. Just like any thing else, gotta watch, and check to see what the restocking fee is if it isn't what you want or whatever.. I've never had a problem through them..
