HEY GUYS I NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS Any site you can download SERVICE PACK 1 other than WINDOWS UPDATE which i can't download cause i have a (not allowed to say on tweaknews.net)

so is ther any 3rd PArty website i can download WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 1

I think its availalbe as a separate pack.

Do a search on google or nose around the microsoft download section, I think its there.

I hate having to download it everytime i do a clean install (every 6 months or so), so i burnt it onto a cd. I can remember where i downloaded it from though. Maybe kaza, not sure. If yoiu have a ( not allow to say on tweaknews.net ) i don't think you will be able to download all the updates. but there is always ways around that.

Yeah, love dogpile. Used it for years, but now I only google, cuz it just seems like the cleanest, yet pulls in everything.

I have corporate xp pro hacked and just use microsoft to download sp1. Most any old hacked key off the internet works.

Do you have to register your windows for the SP1 to install properly? Keeps telling me my key is invalid.

sometimes buts its a WHOLE lot easier to just get an OEM version maybe a $128 or so but well worth it... plus you get the discount when you buy the item with hardware... so get a new harddrive and XP pro for a good price...

cand install sp1.....dl'ed the one from cnet...says the core system kernel file used to start this computer is not ms windows....bummer =/ anyone know how to fix??????
